must be struck with an underhand motion, contacting the ball below the waist.<\/li><li data-start=\"1398\" data-end=\"1534\">The ball must clear the net and land within the opponent&#8217;s service area, between the <strong data-start=\"1485\" data-end=\"1514\">non-volley zone (Kitchen)<\/strong> and the baseline.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1572\"><strong data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1570\">Additional Serving Rules:<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1806\"><li data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1633\">The serve must be clean (the ball cannot touch the net).<\/li><li data-start=\"1634\" data-end=\"1732\">If the ball touches the net but lands in the correct area, it&#8217;s a bounced<\/strong>, but must leave immediately afterward.<\/li><li data-start=\"2994\" data-end=\"3101\">If a player loses balance and steps into the non-volley zone after hitting a volley, it is a
